Jiangxi co-organizers at the provincial and municipal foreign affairs offices were very appreciative of the U.S. delegation’s visit to Jiangxi to provide much-needed visa application information on-site. During both sessions, Margaret Hsiang did an excellent PowerPoint presentation on visa application regulations, and Brooke Spelman joined her to do visa interview role play. All attendees responded enthusiastically by asking many questions. They applauded the U.S. delegation’s efforts to dispel misunderstandings about visa issues. Jiangxi contacts sincerely hoped that similar sessions would be offered regularly and that ConGen Wuhan would eventually be authorized to handle visa applications from applicants in central China.
