AmCham Central China Inaugurates Inter-Chamber Mixer in Wuhan
September 2, 2009: Spearheaded by the Central China Chapter of AmCham China, five foreign chambers of commerce held a mixer on September 2 to demonstrate the flourishing central China memberships of AmCham China, China-British Business Council, Netherlands Business Support Office, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and French Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Consul General Wendy Lyle attended the reception to engage international representatives and Chinese participants from the commercial and legal sectors and the media. According to recent statistics provided by the Wuhan Government, there are 1,358 foreign companies in Wuhan, including 141 U.S. companies. There are 1,400 foreign business persons in Wuhan.
