Consul General Lyle Promotes U.S. Automakers in Wuhan
September 10, 2009: The opening ceremony of the 10th China International Auto Industry Exhibition was held in Wuhan on September 10. Organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Wuhan Sub-council, the ceremony was attended by representatives of the U.S., France, Thailand, the Netherlands, Korea, and Hong Kong, and senior leaders from the Chinese central government as well as Hubei Province and Wuhan Municipality.

Consul General represented the U.S. when a team of Chinese and foreign VIPs were asked to jointly unveil the Chinese Dongfeng Company’s latest models. She also took the opportunity to tour the exhibitions of the three U.S. auto companies attending: Acura, Buick, and Cadillac.
